This is a visionary utopian project of a theatre, which was developed during a workshop and competition with the theme “Theatre Architecture in Central Europe” (TACE). The main ambition of the workshop was to find “The new contemporary theatre for 21st century”.

The theatre is melting over the entire square. The concept is based on a complex interaction between the architectural “geno-code” of the most important architect of Ljubljana Joze Plecnik. The diagram is the virtual transaltion of an affair between him and his all life lover.

Architectural “Genocode”
A geometrical representation of the chronology of two lives interacting together [2 lines] is filled with the situations happening between them – meeting, approach, attraction, separation. These are applied onto the city grid with locations of feminine/masculine architectural forms, giving each a value according to the emotion they represented at the moment.

The theatre is the ambient of highest emotions and affections, thus the highest peak of the theatre represents the climax and most intensive part of their love relation.
