The pavilion is designed as peaceful and iconic space, preserving the aspect of the memory of one nation. The outline of the opening resembling the pyramid is seen as the analogy to common historical element of the region. The pavilion is designed to make use of simple geometry and painted all white. White is the color of clarity and purity. It creates calm and quiet space – as if fully composed of light and its playful shadow variations during the day.

Seating is integrated on both sides of pavilion structure.
As the sun is moving during the day, the openings on both sides create variety of light tracks. The pavilion specific orientation (N, S) causes the situation, when the sun is at the midday position (12 P.M.), the main triangular apertures in front and on the top of the pavilion are in parallel with the sun rays. The light coming inside at this hour defines the “peace path”.
The object geometry is generative translation of nubian pyramid elements: rectangle (for entrance) and triangle (for pyramid).
